Do you want to boost your resume with hands-on job experience? Do you want to work from home and gain this valuable experience? Do you want to have a ton of fun by learning cool new technologies and web strategies?
If so, we are looking for energetic, smart college students (internships) or recent graduate (fellowships) who are genuinely interested in enhancing their career skills. We are looking for great communicators who are very comfortable with social media.
Although, we’ve described tasks that we need your help with, your exact responsibilities will match your skills sets and your interested in learning.
Social Media Marketing
The social media interns and fellows are all about blogging, podcasting, and creating viral campaigns. Social medial interns/fellows are responsible for daily blogging and microblogging. Projects could include: supporting a Twitter party; supporting an online training session; using autoresponder software to create and deliver newsletter content; answering customer questions via Twitter, FB, or email; interviewing via focus groups; etc.
Multimedia Technology
The multimedia technology internship/fellowship is focused on the technology behind social media. You don’t need to be a programmer, but you do need to understand (or be willing to learn) how to use wordpress, autoresponders, audio editing, video editing, call recording, online meeting software, creating Youtube channels, etc. You’ll be the one that keeps us up-to-date, using the right tools for our social media projects.
Editor / Writer
Intern/Fellow will be responsible for researching news, writing/editing parts of newsletters, repurposing existing content for online webinars/workshops and blog posts. Depending on skill and desire, intern may be tasked with writing original content.

Q: Why would I want to work with your team?
A: Most importantly it will be fun and you’ll learn cool new technologies and web strategies. You’ll be working directly with Lisa B. Marshall (speaker/author) and Marc A. Wolfe (accomplished business owner/speaker). Each of us have been interns (NY Giants, RCA, IBM) and understand great internships and fellowships need a balance between things that need to get done and things you want to do.
Q: What will I come away with at the end?
A: A huge amount of real world skills and practical knowledge. You’ll learn directly from the author of a recently releases audiobook on interviewing skills. You’ll certainly improve your communication skills. (We guarantee a great internship!)
Q: Where will I work?
A: These positions are virtual, however, you will have direct interaction with Lisa and Marc via video chat, messaging, and email on a regular basis. Depending on you location, we can meet in-person in Northern or Southern NJ. We are happy to work with people from other countries.
Q: How many hours will I work per week?
A: For an internship or fellowships, a minimum of 16 hours a week, the maximum is up to you!
Q: When does the internship and fellowships start and end?
A: The internships and fellowships are on a rolling time frame. For internships, we would like a minimum commitment of sixteen weeks. For fellowships, we would like a to have a minimum commitment of sixteen weeks, preferably 32 weeks. Please tell us your availability.
Q: How much will I be paid?
A: Internships will be paid with college credits, knowledge and experience (yes, that’s code for unpaid.) Fellowships are also unpaid, however, depending on performance a one-time bonus may be available.
Q: What’s the difference between an internship and fellowship?
A: Internships are for current college students and fellowships are for graduates.
